Tiger Woods Leaps Up in The Rankings
Tiger Woods is hands down one of the best golfers on the face of the earth. But Woods has had a hard time in recent years and have fallen way behind. In fact, he was doing so bad he fell from his number one spot to No. 898. When Tiger entered the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, everyone did not know what to expect from the seasoned golfer. But after the tournament was over, he shocked many in the golf community.
Woods Jumps More Than 200 Spots
Woods finished the tournament shooting 4-under 284 in the week, according to CBS Sports. He finished 15th out of 17 in the Bahamas, and this helped him to jump more than 200 spots and he is now currently ranked No. 650. While this is a long way from his former number one spot, Tiger is showing promise. Maybe this is the win Tiger needs to reenergize his career as a golfer.
Tiger Is Looking Better Than Ever
With this week’s gain in rank, Tiger is looking better than ever. He seems to have gotten his groove back. Woods also appears to have overcome the mental blocks that have plagued him in the past. This alone will hopefully give him the confidence he needs to make 2017 the year of the Tiger. Many of his critics think that Woods’ days at number one are over. But his diehard fans believe that this amazing pro-golfer will regain his title as the best golfer in the world. Only time will tell if Tiger can actually accomplish this goal, but most of us are rooting for him.
